Costa di Mezzate (Bergamo), November 14, 2025 – Molino Nicoli, an Italian company internationally recognized as a leading partner in the Better for You cereals-based products segment, is presenting its new product range for the American market at the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) trade show in Chicago (November 16–18), the leading U.S. exhibition dedicated to private label.
The main directions in which Molino Nicoli has developed its new products perfectly reflect the expectations of the retailers the company collaborates with, who are increasingly attentive to the needs of American consumers in a context of growing focus on food wellness.
The new product references offer high protein content for a healthy, rich, and nutritious food proposition, combined with a carefully selected range of flavors designed to meet the preferences of American families.
The cereals used are organic and GMO-free, made possible by the company’s short and controlled supply chain, which consists of a network of supplier farms located close to the company. Molino Nicoli has built long-standing relationships with these agricultural businesses, ensuring proper cultivation practices and complete control from grain harvest through processing. Molino Nicoli has also obtained Organic certification.
The products Molino Nicoli is bringing to the United States are made using 100% Made in Italy cereals. The new product references, like all Molino Nicoli offerings, are produced in three separate facilities dedicated to different production lines – conventional, gluten free, and allergen free – ensuring constant product safety control.
“Strengthening our presence in the U.S. market is strategic for Molino Nicoli. Already today, half of our production is destined for international markets and, in particular, in the United States we operate through our own subsidiary. Participating in PLMA not only allows us to stay close to our customers and better understand their needs, but also confirms our commitment to implementing our international development and growth plan,” stated Piero Mirra, CEO of Molino Nicoli.
The product references presented at PLMA Chicago in the protein range include Red Berry Muesli, Choco Balls, and Cinnamon Crunch; among the new Organic and Gluten Free products, Fruity Hoops stand out as a flavor variation particularly appreciated by American consumers.
